In our daily life we have made a comfort zone for ourselves. We live in a steady state where we don’t want to bring any change in it. We might complain for many things but we will never stretch our limits or will utilize our capacities to change the things. Also, there are times when we are forced to work beyond our limits. Sometimes it is optional sometimes it is mandatory. Do you think stretching beyond your limits can lead to problems?

• Stretching financially i.e. spending recklessly without knowing your boundaries can create long term problems. It can lead to a financial burden of debt.

• Stretching beyond your physical capacity to loose the weight can lead to health problems. You can suffer from strain or chronic pain in stretching beyond a limit.

• Stretching your heart and mind to perform the work of others can lead to lower self confidence. People will always take benefit of your leniency.

• Doing the work beyond your limits and staying in the office for long hours can have a considerable impact on your social and personal life.

• Stretching can be seen when people over eat. Overeating is a kind of overstretching that can lead to obesity.

At the same time it is not always good to stretch beyond your limits especially when it is about family or money. So, balance is the key.

  • It is not advisable to stretch beyond limits. It causes potential harm to the person’s health both physically and mentally. The body gets tired and the weariness affects the functioning of the organs, similarly it is equally tiresome for the mind to concentrate long hours. The health is the important wealth for person. If we lose health, we cannot work further to grow our wealth. And the already consolidated wealth will get eroded with the medical expenditure due to the health hazard.

    Stretching beyond limits not only affects the health, but also the quality of work so done beyond the limits. Every mind has a exhaustion limit. Overwork is never productive, it is always counter-productive. It is a wasteful task with the hampered quality of work, which in a way requires a re-look. This is nothing but wastage of time and energy.

    In today’s fast moving world, almost everyone works beyond the limits to succeed in the race of fame and power. It is not incorrect to stretch occasionally, as it could be the need to hour seldom. But making this as a habit is definitely wrong in every aspect. The word “limit” is self-explanatory to stop at the point. It is like the elasticity of a rubber band. If we stretch to some extent, it regains to its normal position, stretching further makes it lose its elasticity, and further stretching leads to the breaking of the band. Our body will also break down if we keep working beyond our limits.
