P Uday Bhaskar was appointed as Chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission on 26th November 2015. There has been no permanent chairman of this public service commission since 2014, when member Sivanarayana was interim chairman and retired in June 2015. Dr Uday Bhaskar is a professor of Civil Engineering and Director of Foreign Universities and Alumni Relations of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTU-K).
