Andhra Pradesh state Government is contemplating to form a Special Police Force for safety and security of tourists in the state. The proposal is in active consideration as part of the state New Tourism Policy.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma asserted that the project will make differences in the lives of the people in the State and will give an opportunity to the youth to unleash their talent.

Japan's state-of-the-art Maglev train clocked a new world speed record in 21st Apr’15 in a test run near Mount Fuji, smashing through the 600 kilometre per hour mark. The new record came less than a week after the company recorded a top speed of 590 kph, breaking its own 2003 record of 581 kilometre per hour.

Liquor consumption has alarmingly increased in Kerala over the years and has spread to all sections of the society. Air Canada had announced that it will begin non-stop service from Toronto to Delhi from November 1, with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Air Canada had halted flights on the Toronto-Delhi route in 2005 as the service had become a poor financial performer in the airline's global network.
