Nationalizing water resources would mean the control of handling all water resources like Dam’s, rivers, pipes etc. would be handled nationally or by the state.

For
  • Nationalizing water resources would stabilize and equalize water supply throughout the nation.
  • Just like electricity, even water is available in abundance in some parts of the country while some have scarcity. This can be reduced.
  • Most of the times inter-state disputes arise.
  • Floods, droughts can be handled effectively.

Against
  • Nationalizing water resources is not something that can be done overnight. This process can take years.
  • All the states need to mutually agree on all terms and conditions. This negotiation can be a big task in itself.
The basic need of any species is water. The citizens of any nation want irregular water supply. Most of the times, the urban areas get water while the rural areas are taken for granted. As long as water is distributed “equally” nationalizing may not make much of a difference.

SHOULD RIVER WATER BE NATIONALISED
As i think water should be nationalized because it is the need of each person if we are living in a country then there should not be dispute on water.
these rivers water should be legalized and equlize among the states. By doing this the problem of drought and flood may be reduce.
If water will not be shared by the states then what is the profit to say that we all are Indian this word will be useless if there are the disputes relating to that point which is primary need of each species which is on the earth.
"SHARING AND CARING " are the examples of big heart people.

According to me the water resources should be nationalized because water is the most important part of life for every human being living on this planet. We are looking for life on mars also but with the availability of the water this shows that water is very important for us to live our life. If water resources are nationalized then there will not be any conflict between the peoples as India is a place of diversity. The authority of water should be given into the hands of the central government and as there is the department of electricity there should be a department of water

Water should be nationalized in my view as there is so much scarcity of water worldwide nowadays and water is an essential element in day to day life. Water is required from agriculture to power production and there are many places where the water is in more quantity and there are places where it is in less quantity. So, if the water can be nationalized they can solve the problem of water shortage and people can get efficient amount of water to drink and for other things. Nationalization of water will increase the productivity and decrease the importing of goods from other countries.

Water resources should be nationalized as it would lead to a stable governance of the country, as nationalizing the water resources would lead to less civil wars. There will be no hatred among people as the water will be distributed equally. It would also mean better control on the epic situations like flood, drought, etc. Water is the basic necessity for each individual and it is their right to get a basic supply of water.
