I have cleared my written test for the bank PO exam. How to reply to the questions like “why banking” and “why public sector” in the interview?

Banking is the sector which paves entry for candidates from any stream of education and any level of education. They have job opportunities right from XII pass outs to the highly qualified professionals. Still’ we find the questions like ‘why banking’ or ‘why public administration’ remains the favourite questions of the panellists in the interview. Here are few points to justify these questions:
“Why Banking”?
1. Banking is the fastest growing sector.
2. Banking sector gives out lots of opportunities and more number of vacancies widens the scope for getting selected.
3. Banking sector has improved well in technology making the job easy and more interesting.
4. Having good communication skills is an added value amongst candidates as they can provide better customer service.
“Why Public sector”?
1. Public sector banks offer job stability and safety and has better growth prospects.
2. Unlike Private sector banks, Public sector banks offer added benefits over the good salary structure.
3. Working in public sector is less stressful in comparison to private sector banks.
4. The public sector banks have fixed job hours. There is no requirement to extend service in odd hours. This makes the life more blissful.
