Career in commerce without maths

Asked by: Guest - 13 Jun 16
My score is 95% in 12th standard in commerce stream. I am happy to have a career with accountancy or economics, but I don’t want to pursue maths as a subject any further. Is it possible to have a career in commerce stream without maths?

95% is a very good score in the commerce stream which makes the student eligible for applying in majority of the reputed institutions. Commerce is not a stream that depends on maths alone. Accountancy and economics and two big streams that could pave way for a successful career ahead. Economics alone can make up a students career with respect to education, employment, designation and good salary package.

It is understandable that some of the commerce students don’t have passion towards mathematics and wish to skip this as a subject during their graduation or professional qualification. The student who has the potential to score a 95% in the 12th can very well manage mathematics as an accessory subject during the graduation. Mathematics being an allied subject in commerce and followed in the implementations in almost every job profile in the field of commerce. Students do have the option to skip mathematics as a major subject of study in their graduation.

Some of the career options in commerce without mathematics are:
