Courses in radiography for 12th pass

I am from poor family and have completed my 12th science with 92%. I don’t want to dream of medical field. Can you provide me a list of courses available in radiography that can be pursued after 12th?

Radiography is a diagnostic procedure which uses the imaging techniques to scan the human internal organs using minimal or non-invasive procedure. The commonly used imaging techniques are:

- Fluoroscopy
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- CT Scan or Computerised Tomography
- PET Scan or Positron Emission Tomography
- Ultrasound
- Angiography etc.

Students can pursue radiography courses as Bachelor degree or Diploma degrees or Certificate courses after 12th. The list of courses available in Bachelor degree are:

- B Sc Radiography
- B Sc Radiography and Imaging Science
- B Sc Medical Radiologic Technology
- B Sc Radiology and Imaging Technology
- B Sc Medical Imaging Technology
- B Sc X-Ray Technology

Some of the diploma courses are:

- Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology
- Diploma in Medical Radiography
- Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography

Certificate courses being of very short duration are unable to impart quality theoretical and practical exposure to the students and hence lack value when it comes to the career prospects.
