When the interviewer gives us the opportunity to ask, can we actually make use of the chance to ask our queries, or should we humbly say ‘no questions’?

The reply to this question should always be affirmative. The applicant who has taken interest in the organization and job profile would definitely come up with some or the other question. This opportunity given by the interviewer should be utilized in a smart manner by asking right question at the right time. When the candidate declines by not asking any questions, the interviewer gets a suspicious tendency regarding the interest shown by the candidate towards the job and the company.
Asking questions does not mean getting the liberty to ask anything. The questions should be relevant, smartly framed and should be only in accordance to the job profile or the organization or the field of business. Questions usually vary according to the interviewer viz., operations manager or HR team or the management personnel. Some of the best questions usually comes up during the course of interview. A smart and sharp candidate gathers meaningful questions while the interviewer follows his round of questioning and utilizes the time when he/she gets opportunity to ask the interviewer. This shows the level of concentration and interest of the candidate.
