My percentage in 12th standard is between 50-60%. I was preparing for the CAT entrance. Am I still eligible for CAT exam?

CAT or the Common Admission Test is an All India Examination conducted by the Indian institute of Management. This exam is taken up after graduation. The eligibility criteria emphasize the score of 50% and above in the graduation from any stream and field. The percentage of marks in the 12th standard would have its reflection in the choice of subject and college at the graduation level. These marks would not be considered for the CAT.
Students with less percentage in 12th standard can definitely apply for CAT if they get to score above 50% in their graduation. But the CAT entrance is only for the IIMs. If the students have an interest in management, students should be ready to give other entrance also like XAT, SNAP, IIFT, CET etc. Giving other exams opens up the opportunity to pursue the course in some or the other institution, in case the student is unable to go through IIM.
