Expected salary for MBA safety management.

I am pursuing my final year MBA in safety management. Please let me know the expected package for a fresher and with experience. Also, update me the career prospects in India and abroad.

MBA safety management is an upcoming field which is gaining popularity day-by-day. With the advanced machineries and chemical reagents, the probability of accidents is also increasing. This unsafe environment has made it mandatory for the industrial establishments to recruit safety officers. This field is gaining popularity equally in India and abroad.

The various designations for people dealing with safety management are like safety officers, safety supervisor, safety instructor, safety auditor, environment safety manager etc. Safety managers are required both in public sector (hospitals, NGOs, defence organizations etc.) and private sector (SAIL, TISCO, Coal India Ltd., Bhabha Atomic Research Centre etc.)

In India, the salary of a fresher in safety management profile varies from INR 15000 – INR 20000 per month. However, the same profile abroad rewards the fresher with a salary ranging from INR 65000 – 80000 per month. The salary structure increases with varying industrial standards and experience level of the candidate.
