Higher studies in Bachelor of Fishery Science.

I am a native of Kerala and have completed my 12th PCB with 91% marks. I am looking out for some unconventional course when I came across the Fishery Science. I am aware of the scope in this field. Kindly give me the prospects for higher studies after doing Bachelors degree in Fishery Science.

Bachelor of Fishery Science is not taken up by many aspirants and this makes this field of science less occupied making better job opportunities for those who pursue this course. This field opens up job opportunities even with the completing of graduation.

However, those interested in this field and want to pursue higher studies can go ahead with the post-graduate program. Students can pursue Master in Fishery Science (M F Sc). If students are more inclined towards entrepreneurship, they can better go with the MBA program which could impart them the management skills and help them develop their own business. Talented individuals can even start up their own fish breeding and processing enterprise and eventually spread their business venture and start with the export of the products.
