What are the difficult things that can be enumerated being a manager or an executive?

Rather than using the term ‘difficult’, it would be appropriate to call the profile ‘more challenging’.The term challenging itself generates some encouragement and conveys positive attributes within the candidate. The difficulty is more of a negative term which means that the candidate finds the profile at managerial level with huge hurdle to pass by.
The candidate can explain the interviewer that it is challenging to manage the subordinates and make them work as a team. It is always easier to work alone than to extract the things out of others and that too in the desired manner. Achieving the targets and showing an ever increasing trend and actually adding to the benefits of the organization, by getting work done by subordinate co-workers would be really challenging. But, such challenges do maintain the spirit of the individual and encourages to perform and succeed. Hiring and firing employees can also be quoted as an example for a difficult task at the managerial role.
