I have joined Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. What are the further study options available in India in this field?

General Nursing and Midwifery is a 3 ½ year diploma course which includes the 6 months compulsory internship. GNM itself is a job oriented course. But students can always opt for the better version which is the Bachelor in Nursing (Basic) course which would award a bachelor degree rather than a diploma. after completing the GNM, students can go ahead with B Sc Nursing (Post Basic) which is a 2 year course and gives bachelor degree. After this B Sc, the post graduate programs available in Nursing are:
- M Sc in Nursing
- PG Diploma in Nursing
- M Phil in Nursing
- Ph D in Nursing
