Scope and job opportunities for marine engineering

I have passed 12th PCMB with 88% and interested in marine engineering. Can you help me with the scope and job opportunities in this field?

It is a good score to go ahead with the various entrance examinations for engineering and pursue marine engineering as a career. Students can also go with B Sc in Nautical Science or B S Nautical Technology or a graduate marine engineering course and then go ahead with a post graduation in marine engineering. For those who are unable to pursue graduation in the same field and still interested in marine engineering as career, there are diploma and post-graduate diploma courses available in marine engineering.

The main job of the marine engineer remains in designing, constructing and developing nautical equipment. The entry level in a shipping industry could be a third or fourth level engineer. Scope and career prospects wise the field of marine engineering is good. Students do have a wide spectrum to search for the job opportunities. Some of the options are:
