Scope of B Sc IT

I have joined B Sc in Information Technology. Though aware of the course details to some extent, I want to make sure of the career prospects in this field. Can anyone help me with this bit?

B Sc IT is a job oriented course which has a good scope. It is understandable that the past recession has landed the students into doubt whether or not to take up IT as a career. Still, IT is an industry that is ever booming and would always find its way to stand up again. The increasing trend of IT Parks and hubs have given much confidence to the youth for increasing employment in this sector. The Tech Startup culture has also added to the booming trend of the IT Industry.

Students pursuing B Sc IT have scope for higher education as well. They can go further for M Sc IT and Ph D in the same field. Students can also go for MBA or LLB course. IT Industry is the prime recruiter. IT personals are the most in demand by the startups for them to run smoothly. It graduates can also start up their own business. Some of the common job profiles offered to the IT graduates are:
