Scope of EEE Branch

I have passed my 12th standard and appearing for engineering entrance examinations. Kindly update me the scope of EEE branch.

The scope for EEE is good but it solely depends on individual priorities and requirements that whether their parameters mark it to be a good profile. The availability of jobs and opportunities for the same are fair enough with Electrical and Electronic Engineering. But for those who try to compare this field with IT or software engineering, it is definitely lower both in number of opportunities as well as the package received.

The student who studies and works for passion would definitely enjoy the EEE field with the set package. Jobs do come up in private sector like Jindal steel and power units, TATA, Samsung, Crompton Greaves etc. and some PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, BMRC, Power Grids, State Electricity corporations etc. Students who consider of switching to profiles requiring ECE should understand that the requirements differ to a great extent for the ECE job profile and students would find it a very tough fight to get accommodated in that role. Hence, students should be very clear in their aim and mindset before entering the EEE.
