It is easy to crack the SSC exam. All the aspirants need to know is the pattern of the exam and should plan a preparation strategy accordingly. On closely watching the previous years questions, it is well understood that some of the questions and patterns are repeated regularly. Going through previous years papers not only mean to solve those questions but also visualize the weightage of topics and question pattern involved. The subject wise study pattern could be:
- General awareness – It is good to get well-verse with the topics repeated in previous years papers. Such a strategy simplifies the preparation of the vast subject like general awareness. Again, the pattern explains some 4-5 questions from current affairs, the events from past 3-4 months. Keeping updated with the latest events helps the preparation of this section.
- Mathematics -It is very important to understand the basic concepts in maths. The questions usually comes upto 10th standard syllabus, especially in Tier 1 examination. It is not required to waste the time in higher level mathematical equations.
- English – Many aspirants leave the reading comprehension section in order to save time. Conversely, this section is quiet simple and scoring and should always be attempted. Vocabulary practice could help in understanding the antonyms/synonyms, idiom/phrases, one word substitution etc. An average knowledge of grammar could help clear the section. Hardly 10-15 sections involve the grammar knowledge, rest part remains scoring.
The more the aspirants practice mock tests, better could be their judgement on their grasp of the subjects and time management.
