Today, for the first time in the interview I came across this question “what makes me angry?” the interview was heading very positively when this question suddenly appeared. I somehow managed, but what could be an ideal way to approach this question? Is this a way to chuck me out?

Considering this question in a negative manner and a mean for not selecting would let down the energy to win the interview. This is undoubtedly a potentially challenging question through which the interviewer is indirectly placing the applicant under pressure quotient. Such questions are usually asked to perceive the smartness, internal resistance and withstanding power of the applicant.
Smart reply wins over pure honesty in such occasions. Every human being is subjected to anger including the interviewer, so replying with a ‘no anger’ scenario may backfire. It would be better to approach this question by conveying the calmness trait and a balanced attitude at all situations. Explaining the anger as an energy which the applicant tries to redirect positively in the area to find a suitable resolution instead of a harsh temper could be soothing response. Giving examples would be good only if the candidate is confident of explaining the anger with a positivity for the functioning. Nevertheless, applicant can always quote the bad effects of anger which hampers the decision-making power of the individual.
