Under 3rd National Lok Adalat cases were taken up in the Supreme Court, High Courts, district-level courts and taluka-level courts across the country (except Assam and Uttar Pradesh). In its second edition in 2014 a record of sorts was made with the disposal of around 1.25 crore cases on a single day.
