    - If a software testing team performs testing without planning and documentation ,then it is called as, Adhoc testing.

    - Adhoc testing is an informal and improvisational approach for accessing the viability of a product.

    - It can be performed when there is limitation in exhaustive testing and usually performed after the formal test execution.
