Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honoured with the best actress award for her performance in 'Sarbjit' at the International Film Festival and Awards of Australia (IFFAA).
In the biopic movie, the 43-year-old actress portrayed Dalbir Kaur.
She is the sister of Sarabjit Singh, fighting against the system to bring back his brother from Pakistan jail.
'Sarbjit,' based on the story of Sarbjit Singh, an Indian national who was punished by Pakistan's Supreme Court on charges of spying.
The Omung Kumar directed movie also starred Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar.
