    - Before handing over the software to the client, alpha testing is to be done in-house.

    - Alpha testing is a form of internal acceptance testing performed by in-house the software QA and testing teams.

    - This is the last testing done by the test teams at development site after the acceptance testing and before releasing the software for beta test.
