    How did we come to the conclusion that P is a male, when P can be the grandparent of Q without being married to F. P can be the grandparent through N who is Qs mother. Can be a male or female.

    The only outright male is M. But the gender of L cannot be determined. Thus, we can't tell how many male are there in the family.

    Sir in the question its already mentioned N is wife of M so eventually M will be a male candidate
