Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) provides Central financial assistance of 15 percent of the benchmark cost for solar rooftop. According to new notification Private, commercial and industrial buildings rooftops will not be covered under the subsidy unless the solar system is owned by a government organization.
