Centre announced the formation of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee to be named Disha for effective development and coordination of central government programmes.
  • These Committees will regulate 28 schemes and programmes of Ministries such as rural development to promote synergy and convergence for greater impact of programmes such as Swachch Bharat Abhiyan.
