- Sampling errors are caused if selected samples do not truly represent the lot. It is a high possibility of accepting bad lot and rejecting good lot.
- It affects the average quality of the accepted lot.
- Different factors causing sampling errors are:
1) Size of sample
2) Method of sample selection
3) Non homogeneity of lot
