Lifetime Achievement Award for the year went to R.C. Bhargava of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd while Uday Kotak was judged Entrepreneur for the year for Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. The Forbes leadership award was instituted in the year 2011 by American business periodical Forbes and awards are given in 9 categories each year.
