French screen and theatre actress Emmanuelle Riva, nominated for an Academu Award for best actress in 2013, has died at age 89.
Riva died on 27th Jan 2017 in Paris after a long illness. Riva was Oscar nominated for her role in Amour.
With Riva, starring alongside movie legend Jean-Louis Trintignant, it won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film.
Amour also won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
