    - PDCA cycle was being proposed by Deming to solve problems. PDCA stands for Plan-Do-Check-Act.

    - PDCA cycle was modified as PDSA cycle. In the modified cyle, check (C) is replaced by study (S).

    - The process is being studied instead of just checking.
