Acer Starbreeze, Facebook Oculus, Google, HTC Vive, Samsung and Sony Interactive Entertainment have launched the formation of an international non-profit organisation called The Global Virtual Reality Association to foster and research virtual reality technology and bring together all the players in the industry, including customers.
Partners in the alliance aim to shape VR technology as an emerging industry to develop synergy with the customers.
Advanced research is available to web users, while also taking on board user feedback.
The association’s members will develop and adopt VR globally and share best practices, conduct research and bring the international VR community together as technology advances.
