India and France have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for construction of six nuclear reactors at Jaitapur in Maharashtra, two months after the two nations formed an agreement to do so. Pact was inked following visit of high level delegation of Electricite de France to hold discussion with NPCIL for the construction of plants.
