    - Scotch yoke mechanism, Oldham's coupling, elliptical trammel are different inversions of double slider kinematic chain.

    - Double slider kinematic chain is a four bar kinematic chain. It consists of two turning and two sliding pairs.

    - Scotch Yoke mechanism is used to convert rotary motion into reciprocating motion. It consists of four links i.e fixed link, driving link, slider and slotted link.

    - Driving crank is fixed to the fixed link and rotates about a point.
