    - ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and TS 16949 are the quality standards used.

    1) ISO 14000

    - These standards are pertained to international Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
    - The environmental effects included under this standard are pollution, waste generation, energy consumption, etc
    - These standards are designed to encompass diverse geographical, cultural or social conditions.

    2) TS 16949

    - TS 16949 standard is used in international automobile companies to set automotive quality system standards.
    - The goal of this standard is to develop quality management system which provides continuous improvement, emphasizes defect preventions, reduces waste, etc.
    - This standard is developed by International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and ISO.
    - It forms a single global standard and has huge impact on automotive industry.
