    - Duplicate and interchangeable parts can easily be manufactured accurately with the help of production tools like jigs and fixtures.

    - Jigs and fixtures are designed in a manner so that the large number of components can be manufactured and assembled identically.

    - The special set up for each individual component is not required due to use of jigs and fixtures.

    - As jigs and fixtures are specially designed, they are expensive to produce.
