Indian cricketer Karun Nair on 19
th Dec 2016 scored a triple century in the first innings of the 5th and final match against England.
The venue was the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
With this, he became the second Indian batsman to score a triple century in tests.
Earlier, Virendra Sehwag scored two triple centuries in test matches.
Nair’s unbeaten 303 helped India to score 759/7 scores and led India to a margin of 282 runs over England.
England scored 477 runs in the first innings of the match.
