ANSWER: 10 years
 
Let the ages of the children be x, (x + 3), (x + 6) and (x + 9) years.
Then, x + (x + 3) + (x + 6) + (x + 9) = 58
4x = 40
x = 10
Age of youngest child = x = 10 years
