a. 16
b. 18
c. 10
d. 12

ANSWER: 18

Let the ages of Shweta and Veena 6 years ago be 5x and 6x.
Present ages is (5x + 6) and (6x +6) respectively, and their ages 4 years from now will be (5x + 10) and (6x + 10).
(5x + 10) / (6x + 10) = 10 /11
55x + 110 = 60x + 100
5x = 10
x = 2
Present age of Veena = (6x + 6) = (6*2 + 6) = 18 years
