    - The angle of projection is 45° over a horizontal plane, if horizontal range (R) is equal to 4 times the maximum height (Hmax).

    - Horizontal range (R) is defined as the horizontal distance between point of projection and point of landing.

    - Maximum height is the vertical distance between point of projection and the point on which vertical component of velocity is zero.

    - Angle of projection is the angle made by velocity with horizontal. Velocity of projectile directed up the horizontal is known as angle of elevation and that directed below the horizontal is known as angle of depression.
