In a resolution moved by the Punjab Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa on the floor of the house, the state assembly felicitated the Chief Minister and people of Punjab for this honour. The resolution said that Mr Badal has been honoured in recognition with his continued services for the welfare of poor, dalits and farmers and this is a prestigious honour for all the Punjabis across the globe.
