Indian Railways provided the All India Helpline Number ‘138’ for passengers, for queries and complaints related to medical emergency, cleanliness, food and catering, and coach maintenance. Security helpline number 182 is used to report unsavoury situation during journey. India Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation, IRCTC has been directed to make necessary arrangements to ensure printing of the numbers on the hard copies as well as SMS of e-tickets.
