- For example, when temperature increases rubber bands get contracted and it becomes difficult to stretch these bands. Rubbers are formed of high tangled monomers and these monomers contract when heated because, these monomers move with high speeds and greater energy and tangled when heated. This reduces elasticity of the material.
- Rubber bands consume more time to break when heated as compared with bands at lower temperatures.
- At lower temperatures, the elasticity of these bands increases and get easily expanded.
