Bump testing is fundamentally a portion of vibration testing. It results in simulating the physical environment which is generally experienced during the product transportation.
Due to bounding on a hard surface, the force experienced by a product is renowned as 'bump'. Characteristics of a bump are majorly dependent on its amplitude, shape and duration.
Since the bouncing effect only over the hard surface can give rise to bump, soft, hot or cold surface have no concern in the occurrence of bump.
