I feel that the horizontal space for a 132KV power line should be 50feet i.e. 15metres...otherwise I feel it would lead to wastage of land and the population of Kenya is growing.

The answer is not right. I have been working on 132kV substation but never saw such distance between two phases conductor. Common sense! is it possible distance between two conductor is "25 foot or 8 meters" in reality.
