Biosensors are used in environmental diagnostics, food and food processing industries, medical field, agricultural field, pollution monitoring etc. They consist of bio-recognition systems like antibodies.
Biosensors are composed of transducers and probes. Biological event is converted into an electronic response by transducers and is further processed by a microprocessor.
Biosensors are precise and sensitive. They are rapid and handle large number of samples.
