    - According to work energy principle, a particle of mass m when subjected to unbalanced force system, the work done during displacement by all forces is equal to change in kinetic energy during displacement.

    - Work energy principle is represented symbolically as shown below:

    According to Newton's 2nd law,

    Force = mass x acceleration

    Integrating this equation, we get

    Algebraic sum of work done by different forces = Difference between kinetic energy of the systems at two different positions.
