Explanation

TRAI stands for Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. It was formed on 20
February, 1997. The aim of TRAI is to create and manage the growth of
telecommunications in India. The Authority should not have more than two part
time and full time members. Due to the increasing lobbying activities by the
various opertors like Vodafone and Airtel, the TRAI is planning to allow these
operators to block the apps and websites. India has no laws which govern the
net neutrality in the country, as of 2015. Thus, all the internet users should be
treated equally.
