What are the three main deliverables of the envisioning phase? Explain them.Main deliverables are:
a) Vision/Scope Document: The vision document defines the high level business requirements of a project. This is important to provide a clear direction to the team involved in the project. The scope document must include what’s part of the project and what’s not by drawing a project boundary and defining it clearly. It defines the background, the major business problem, the constraints, assumptions and the conceptualized solution along with the major risks involved. It also identifies the major business and project owners.
b) Project structure Document: This defines the high level project structure for the team that is going to be part of the planning phase. It defines the standards that will be used across the project to support it.
c) Risk assessment Document: This document describes the potential risks that are related to the project. It consists of a risk mitigation and management plan that will be used in the project to deal with risks throughout the duration of the project.
