Explain the purpose of tuning oracle database.
In simple words to improve the performance of our database we need to tune it.
Following are the purpose of tuning database:

Will improve performance and ease administration by properly distributing
database objects.

Tuning focuses on identifying and fixing the underlying flaws that result in
unacceptable performance.

The goal of tuning is to make sure that the physical limitations of the
applications and the associated hardware i: e I/O throughput rates, memory
sizes, query performance, and so on do not impact the business performance.
