IBPS exam is conducted in 3 phases, i.e. :
1) Preliminary Examination
2) Main Examination
3) Interview
IBPS Preliminary examination is conducted for the posts of PO and Clerk and the candidates clearing this exam are allowed to take the IBPS Main Examination. Candidates appearing for the posts of IBPS SO & IBPS RRB don't have to take the preliminary examination.
IBPS Main Examination is conducted to test eligibilty of the candidates for IBPS interview. Candidates appearing for the posts of IBPS SO & IBPS RRB
can directly go to the IBPS interview if IBPS Main Examination is cleared.
