Learn to use "Such as" correctly
Such as
The conjunction 'Such as' is used to convey the sense of 'like'.
Example:
1) She is such a dumb as no one gives her any work.
2) Birds such as pigeons are found near the human community.
From the above 2 examples we deduce that:
1) 'Such' is always followed by 'as' and not by 'who' or 'that'.
It is incorrect to say :
“She is such a dumb that no one gives her any work.
2) Such as should always be followed by a noun or pronoun.
3) 'Such that' means 'the specified degree of importance, worth, etc.
Example:
a) Incorrect: He is such a leader that no one can approach him.
Correct: He is such a leader as no one can approach him.
